Find attached the PowerPoint for this week.
Read the short extract on slide 3. (10 minutes)
Using a dictionary, find the definition for each word and write it down. Now try using each word in a sentence and write it down. You may wish to draw a picture to help you remember each word. (15 minutes)
Read the extract again on slide 3. (10 minutes)
Answer the questions on slide 5 and write down the answers. (15 minutes)
Give the extension task a go! Write an opening paragraph of a story based upon the characters/events/locations of this extract. (20 minutes)
