Year 7 Maths

Remember to complete your Maths, English, and Science Daily Goals on Tassomai every day! This will only take a few minutes, and there's more subject-specific work below.

Below is the updated work for the week beginning 11th May 2020. All previous work is archived so you can still access it, please see the links below. You have also been set a task on Mathswatch to check understanding, please complete this at the end of the week.

Archive Week 1 - 30th March

Archive Week 2 - 20th April

Archive Week 3 - 27th April

Archive Week 4 - 4th May

Each weekend the work will be updated so that there are four lessons worth of work each week. You should find a resource that helps you to understand a topic, this could be in the form of a power point with examples, a link to a video, an information sheet etc. Then there should be a set of questions to complete, this may be set on MathsWatch or another site or it may be a sheet and you would need paper and pen to work them out. Finally, there should be answers so that you can mark your work and see if you have completed it correctly. There is no need to email your Learning Consultant the work, please keep hold of it and you can bring it into the Academy when we return to show your Learning Consultant what you have done.

Many of these resources have been sourced from websites such as www.piximaths.co.uk, www.drfrostmaths.com, www.mrbartonmaths.com and www.corbettmaths.com and if you are struggling on a topic you may find a resources on one of these websites useful to help, as well as vle.mathswatch.co.uk. Some of the resources also have links to video clips which provide additional support.
