Write on lined paper, or type your answers on a computer.
Task 1: ‘Endangered animals’ is the title of the lesson. Write down everything you know about it. 5 minutes
Mind map endangered animals.Try to use Tier 2 vocabulary. 5 minutes

Watch the clip. What do you think the animal is feeling? Is it right to react in that way? How do you feel that a tiger is being held captive from its natural habitat? 5 minutes
Watch the clip about Palm Oil and its effects. Write down 3 effects that Palm Oil has on the environent/Orangutans. 10 minutes
How might Orangutans and Iceland be related? Write down your ideas. 5 minutes
Watch the advert. What is happening? Bullet point some of the emotions each character must feel. Why might this advert be banned?10 minutes
Slide 8: look at the examples of narrative openings and identify which is most effective and why. What techniques have been used? 10 minutes
Why is developing palm oil bad for the environment? Write down your ideas. 5 minutes
